We’re Hiring: Finance Assistant

We’re looking for a Finance Assistant to contribute to the effective and efficient financial and administrative management of Impact Arts.

Job title: Finance Assistant

Salary: £24,100 per annum (£16,870 pro rata for 26.25 hours per week)

Based at: The Boardwalk, 105 Brunswick Street, Glasgow, G1 1TF with flexible hybrid options

Reporting to: Finance Manager

Duration of contract: Permanent

Working Hours: 26.25 hours per week (0.7FTE) between Monday – Friday

Travel: May be required between Impact Arts projects

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

  • Relevant qualification in finance, accountancy or bookkeeping, level 6 SCQF/Highers
    (equivalent) or above OR
  • Minimum 1 year experience of working within a finance role

Desirable:

  • Experience of Xero Accounts, Xero payroll, Hubdoc and Approval Max (training will be
  • provided)

Technical Skills & Knowledge

  • Efficient IT skills including Office 365 & Teams especially Excel & Outlook
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational and planning skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment and ability to understand the importance and the meeting of deadlines
  • An understanding of confidentiality in handling sensitive personal data
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective team-working skills
  • Good time management
  • Ability to relate to and communicate with a wide range of people
