We’re Hiring: Wellbeing Worker (Craft Café Govan)

Thu 30th July 2026

Craft Café Govan offers creative choice and freedom for its members, many of whom are living with increased dependence on others and a feeling of reduced autonomy as a result. The focus of support follows the individual, allowing them to see that they matter, that their lives, stories, artistic expression and wisdom deserve to be acknowledged and celebrated.

We have found that recently the number of older people with long-term conditions has increased and that many are experiencing high levels of physical inactivity and social isolation. Craft Café seeks to help address this by offering help, promoting well-being and creating a space for social connection. The Wellbeing Worker will work alongside our Senior Creative Lead to deliver excellent support for all our Craft Café members, a service which is never more needed than now.

Activity planning is shared between both roles, with the Senior Creative Lead offering creative activity and workshops from the request of members or often working towards community initiatives such as local festival and community days, or exhibitions such as Tall Ship Exhibition in 2025.
