We’re looking for a volunteer to support our team to create a welcoming, creative space for young people on our CashBack programme to build confidence, develop skills and explore their potential through art.
CashBack offers 14-19 year olds a space to meet like-minded young people, learn new skills, improve physical and mental health, build confidence and form friendships through creative engagement. Participants do not require any arts or creative experience for this project; it is a fun way for everyone to develop core transferable skills.
Our CashBack programme is run by a Creative Lead Tutor (who facilitates the art activities) and a Wellbeing & Opportunities Worker (who supports the group with day-to-day wellbeing, gaining Qualification Scotland certifications and securing their next steps after the programme). Participants will experiment with a whole range of art forms as well as enjoying trips to galleries and other local venues. At the end of the block the group will put on a Showcase exhibition to display their artwork and celebrate with friends and family.
