As part of Glasgow International 2018, Impact Arts will be hosting Stretch/Pulled/Inked, an exhibition by internationally-acclaimed printmaker and sculptor Carla Scott Fullerton – a graduate of our Artistic Mentoring Programme which offers graduate artists practical experience through working in community arts.
Stretch/Pulled/Inked is a new installation combining printmaking and sculpture to examine the urban environment. This body of work explores different printmaking techniques such as linocut, woodcut, screen printing and lithography to create its sculptural forms.
Carla is interested in the language that sculpture creates through materials and processes and the relationships between forms and structure, between architecture and people and how these elements relate to each other.
