Cashback to the Future, our free summer creative programme for 14-19 year olds, is coming to an end next week.
The programe has given young people in Ayrshire, Edinburgh and Glasgow the chance to work with some amazing professional artists on visual arts, digital, music and performance projects. You can read more about all the imaginative work produced on our dedicated Cashback to the Future blog.
Having got to know each other and had the chance to try their hand at a huge range of artforms and techniques, the young people are now building up to their final showcases, where we will get to see the fantastic work they have produced over the past few weeks.
The events will take place:
These packed celebration events will feature live music, performances, visual art exhibitions, film and animation.
A good attendance will help ensure this is a special night for the young people who have worked so hard on the programme. If you would like to attend any of the events, please contact Matthew McWhinnie on 0141 575 3001 or email matthew.mcwhinnie@impactarts.co.uk.
The Cashback to the Future programme is funded for the next three years by the Scottish Government’s Cashback for Communities programme, which uses the seized proceeds of crime to back projects helping disadvantaged young people.
Additional vital support has come from Creative Scotland, National Museums Scotland, Scottish Canals and Elderpark Housing Association.
