Are you a lone parent and/or a global ethnic minority parent who wants to learn new skills, get creative, start a training programme or find a new job?  Join Impactful Parents!Â
Impactful Parents is a stage 1, non-traditional creative employability project.
Over 12 weeks, using the arts as a focus, we will support you to feel more confident, connect with other parents, boost your wellbeing and gain qualifications including a SQA Communications unit.Â
You will be supported by an artist, wellbeing support worker and opportunities co-ordinator who will provide 1:1 and group support. This programme is completely free to attend and your travel expenses will be paid for. We’ll also work with you to ensure your benefits are not affected. Â

What to expect
On our Impactful Parents programme, you will:Â
Take part in creative engagement techniques including music making, painting, sculpture, animation and creative writing!Â
We will help you prepare to progress into work, further education or training, establish a routine, create a CV, prepare for interviews and look for opportunities.
There will be a focus on Mental Health and Wellbeing where you can learn about mindfulness and good eating, practice yoga, get outside and visit community projects, and take part in confidence-building creative workshops.
