The Sketchy Youths/Impact Arts alumni are young people who have participated in a programme with Impact Arts. All young aged between 16-26yr who have taken part in one of our programmes are invited to join, to continue to receive regular creative opportunities and meet twice a month.
We are working to develop more opportunities to learn, participate and connect with wider Creative Industries in the UK through meeting creative professionals and collaborating with peers.
Within the alumni group, we are developing our youth steering group, who are passionate about getting their voices heard and bringing young people’s experiences to the centre of Impact Arts. The steering group hope to shape and improve our programmes for young people, becoming positive advocates for youth engagement in community arts, and having the opportunity to attend internal consolations, project visits, training opportunities and events or workshops.
