There’s painting… then there’s painting with light!
In the opening days of CashBack Edinburgh, the young people working with visual arts tutor Sarah Wakeford have created some stunning images.
Light-painting involves using a small but bright light source in a darkened room. With a slow shutter speed on the digital camera, the camera captures all the movements of the light allowing you to make shapes and even write!
Our Cashback participants took this to the next level by using colourful fairy lights – check out some of the behind the scenes and finished images below!
