Outdoor Creative Play is designed to spark the imaginations of children, and instill a love of nature, playing outside, and making friends.
To make this project happen at Elder Park this summer, we need your help to raise £3,500 by the end of June.
37.6% of children in Govan are living in poverty according to Action for Children.
That’s why this much-loved programme is so vital.
Outdoor Creative Play provides free nutritious meals, therapeutic support, creative play, outdoor activities, and summer fun for children experiencing barriers and hardships.
At Impact Arts, we’re always grateful for every donation. And right now, we need your support more than ever to give 60 children a summer to remember at Elder Park.
In this programme, children have the opportunity to:
Outdoor Creative Play is for primary school children aged 5-11 in Govan who are: living in poverty; experiencing hardship or trauma; struggling with behavioural difficulties; have low mood, anxiety or low levels of physical activity; or struggling to making friends at school
Your support will enable us to provide crucial support to children experiencing hardship and give them a summer filled with creativity and fun in nature.
👉 £10 will buy three nutritious lunches for one child
👉 £35 will buy materials and resources for one session for 30 children
👉 £50 will pay for one child to participant in two weekly sessions for six weeks
