CashBack Nights: Weekly Workshops (12-19 year olds)

Impact Arts’ Cashback for Communities-funded programme - Cashback to the Future – will continue to offer young people in North Ayrshire, East Ayrshire, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Renfrewshire access to free weekly workshops led by accomplished Creatives.

Aimed at 12-19 year olds, participants will be able to be inventive and imaginative, with first-rate guidance on hand from skilled creative staff. 6 week blocks of workshops will feature Visual Arts, Film, Performance and Music.

Workshops will run at the following locations:

Renfrewshire:

  • 26th February - 25th March
  • Tannahill Centre, 76 Blackstoun Road, Paisley PA3 1NT
  • Wednesdays, 4pm-6pm
  • Music & Performance

Glasgow:

  • 24th February - 30th March
  • Mondays 5pm-6.30pm
  • Elderpark Community Library, Govan

North Ayrshire:

  • 15th Jan- 18th March 2020
  • Impact Arts, 60 Bank Street, Irvine KA12 0LP
  • Wednesdays, 4.30pm-6.30pm

East Ayrshire

  • 18th January - 8th February 2020/ 22nd February – 21st March 2020
  • At 31 B Titchfield Street, Kilmarnock, KA1 1QW
  • Saturdays, 10am-12pm/1pm-3pm

Edinburgh:

  • 17th January - 27th March
  • National Museum of Scotland, Edinburgh, EH1 1JF
  • Fridays, 2pm-4pm
  • Dinosaur theme

Participants aged 12-19 are eligible who are either:

  • Living in an area of deprivation
  • At risk of disengaging from school
  • At risk of engaging in anti-social behaviour
  • Living with a disability or mental health condition
  • Socially isolated
  • Over-16 and not in employment, education or training
