CashBack Nights: Visual art workshops, Edinburgh

Free CashBack Nights workshops will offer 12-19 year olds the chance to work with artist Kate Southern on fun arts and crafts workshops inspired by the contents of the National Museum of Scotland!

You will learn how to create nail and yarn art, origami, and paper crafts, while also using the rich collections within the Museum to inspire wonderful tapestries, embroidery, textiles and pottery.

We will be taking inspiration from heritage and museums generally, while also creating work inspired by our own heritage - our identities and stories.

Workshops are running every Friday from 2pm until 4pm at the National Museum of Scotland, Chambers Street, Edinburgh EH1 1JF. This block will run from 1st February - 19th April 2019.

Interested? You can sign up here. If you have any questions, give Rosanna at Impact Arts a call on 0141 575 3001 or email rhall@impactarts.co.uk.

These workshops are funded and supported by Cashback for Communities, National Museums Scotland and the Heritage Lottery Fund's Kick the Dust fund.
