Community Jobs Scotland Creative Assistant Glasgow

The following vacancy is only open to vulnerable unemployed 16 to 29 year olds, including carers, early service leavers (armed forces), care experienced, disabled, and young people with convictions and who are not on Specialist Employability Support (SES)

 

We are looking for a Creative Assistant to get involved in the delivery of arts projects in a community setting. You will help a creative tutor in a range of practical activities, while learning about workshop delivery and organisation. This will also provide an opportunity to develop a range of practical creative and personal skills while making a difference through the arts.

Salary: £9 per hour
Based at: The Factory, 319 Craigpark Drive, Dennistoun, Glasgow G31 2TB and workshop venues across Glasgow
Working Hours: 25 hours per week - Normally 4 days from 5 between Monday - Friday, 9.30am - 4.15pm with a 30 minute break for lunch.

 

This role has been created by the Community Jobs Scotland scheme, which creates employment opportunities for young unemployed people within third sector organisations throughout Scotland – particularly those who are more disadvantaged in the labour market.
