Edinburgh Full time post - 37.5 hours

Edinburgh 0.6 post - 22.5 hours

North Lanarkshire Full time post - 37.5 hours

Salary: £23,812 per annum/pro rata

Based at:

Edinburgh Full time post – workshop locations will be City Centre Edinburgh and South Edinburgh

Edinburgh 0.5 post – workshop locations will be City Centre Edinburgh

North Lanarkshire Full time post – Workshop location to be confirmed. North Lanarkshire Home working will be expected for preparation and planning time. Delivery model would switch to remote if a lockdown returns

Reporting to: Amanda Munro - Programme Manager, Youth & Education

Duration of contract: Start January 2022

Working Hours:

Edinburgh 0.5 post -  Wednesday & Thursday 11am-7pm (workshop 4.30-6.30)  Saturday 9am-5pm (Workshops 10-12 and 1-3)

Edinburgh Full time post  Monday & Tuesday 11am – 7pm  Wednesday - Friday 9am - 5pm 

North Lanarkshire Full time post  Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm

Qualifications: SCQF level 9 in related discipline

Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience delivering youth work

Other Essentials:

  • Competent IT skills including: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Subject to PVG check and references
  • Ability to engage young people in the context of remote delivery when required
  • Desirable: Current PVG scheme member
  • Experience using a CRM database
  • Experience of delivering Youth Achievement Awards and/or Qualified SQA Assessor with experience of delivering SQA Wider Achievement Awards / Core Skills units
