Wild jungle exhibit coming to the Young Gallery!

Next Thursday sees the launch of a wild new Young Gallery exhibition by children from four nurseries in Glasgow's East End.

'Into the Jungle' will transform the Young Gallery in Dennistoun into a living breathing jungle for this multimedia exhibition, featuring artwork by children from Elba Lane Nursery, Green Trees Nursery, Helenslea Nursery and Bridgeton Family Learning Centre.

The children have been exploring the theme of jungle animals through music, movement, storytelling, mixed media and visual art. The result is a wild jungle installation showcasing the children’s artwork and explaining how it was created.

Following the launch on Thursday, the exhibition will be open to the public from 12pm until 5pm, Tuesday - Friday, from 31st March until the 14th April 2017. If you would like more info, please contact Helen MacVey at hmacvey@impactarts.co.uk.

The Young Gallery is Scotland's only dedicated gallery space for children under 12. It is funded by The Robertson Trust, Lloyds TSB Foundation for Scotland and The Rayne Foundation.
