Cashback to the Future - free music, performance, visual art and digital workshops - is coming to venues in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Ayrshire this summer.

The final showcase of our Edinburgh Creative Pathways young people's artwork was a huge success last week, with a good turnout at Canongate Youth in the city centre taking in some bright, intricate and imaginative paintings, drawings, collages, patterns and sculptures.

Young People in Barrhead Invited to Get Creative!

The brilliant Creative Pathways programme is back in Barrhead! Young people aged 16-25 can get involved in a 12 week creative programme to learn new skills. And the best bit - they can earn £55 per week training allowance while they learn!

Stage 3 Employability Programme for 16 and 17 Year Olds, Edinburgh

Impact Arts is now taking referrals for a new stage 3 programme in Edinburgh. Young people will learn a range of creative skills such as:

Costume/Set Design - design, planning, prototyping, sound and lighting, hand sewing and embellishment, machine sewing, pattern design and cutting, garment construction, prosthetic make up, character development and fabric treatment

Performance – develop skills such as acting ability, voice projection and stage presence, script writing, leadership, improvisation, devising, street theatre and film and camera skills

  • Starts 19th January 2016
  • 11 weeks creative delivery and then 2-6 weeks after-care
  • 4 days per week, Tuesday to Friday
  • Based at The Printworks, 66 Albion Rd. Edinburgh EH7 5QZ
  • Contribution towards travel costs
  • Opportunity to achieve Arts Award

Gallery 37 Ayrshire 'Really? TV Showcase

On Friday 16th of October, a group of creative young people dazzled the crowd at the Woodlands Centre in Irvine. After a week of exploring Performance, Animation and Prop Design through the Gallery 37 programme, they created a showcase with the theme 'Irvine Television'.
