The Tall Ship by the River Clyde will be the stunning venue for a new aquatic-themed exhibition by older people who attend Impact Arts' Craft Cafe workshops in Govan.

Fashion Changes Lives

asda babesWhat if you could own a beautiful scarf, unique in its design and ethically produced, and know your purchase was helping a charity work to improve the quality of life of older people with dementia and Alzheimer’s? Well you’re one step closer thanks to a new pilot programme from Impact Arts with support from Social Investment Scotland and ASDA.

Older Artists Launch Textiles Range

With titles like 'Poppies in Sunshine', 'Galloping Horse and Lady', 'Hedgehog in the Glen', 'Big Headed Seated Figure' and 'Summers Night in the Lagoon', Craft Café’s first run of digitally printed fabrics blew everybody away at their launch on Thursday 3rd December. Out of the Blue Drill Hall in Edinburgh was a lovely backdrop for a range of 100% wool and 100% silk Georgette scarves, which were lit up to show their colours and vibrancy.
