Spring into Dunterlie! Barrhead young people to hold community arts fun day

Young people from Barrhead working with Impact Arts are inviting the local community to a free celebration event at the Dunterlie Community Centre!

Spring into Dunterlie will take place on Wednesday 13th March 2019 between 3pm and 5pm at Dunterlie Community Centre, 38 Stewart St, Barrhead, Glasgow G78 1AL.

The group will be sharing the local environmental activism they been involved in as part of a partnership with TCV (The Conservation Volunteers). They will also exhibit environmental-themed artwork produced as part of creative workshops with Impact Arts’ artists Emmett McSheffrey and Portia Velarde.

We’ll be creating a party atmosphere with a live DJ, face-painting, craft workshops for all ages and a mini alpaca petting zoo!

For more information, contact Heather at Impact Arts on 0141 575 3001 or email heather.gault@impactarts.co.uk.

The programme has been funded by Barrhead Housing Association, the Scottish Government's People and Communities fund, Our Bright Future and the National Lottery Community Fund Scotland.
