Paisley participants making it their own in Creative Workshops

We are currently running the Make it Your Own project in Paisley. In partnership with Renfrewshire Council's Housing Support Service, the project aims to make council tenancies more sustainable through creative workshops.

Those moving into first-time tenancies work closely with Impact Arts' artists-in-residence Linda and Susan to plan and design exactly what they want to do with their new homes to make it feel somewhere that is truly theirs.

Participants have getting full tutorials on a fantastic range or useful techniques for the home. They have been working on large wall canvases, blinds for kitchen and bathroom, making soft furnishings, sewing cushions and curtains, making mosaic mirrors, and generally making the most of their workshop time.

The team at Impact Arts work hard to secure over £1.5m of funding per year to provide life changing creative experiences for more than 5000 people.

You can help us achieve this target through making a single gift, or a regular donation. Thank you.
