Interim Director Announced

We are pleased to announce that while our Director Lisa Gallagher (nee Maclean) is on maternity leave from 24th June, that our Head of Fundraising, Fiona Doring will be leading the organisation as Interim Director.

Fiona

Fiona has ten years’ experience leading Impact Arts programmes and projects, and comes from a strong arts and business development background. Latterly, she has been a member of the Senior Management Team working alongside the Director and board on strategic development.

Fiona will be supported by Impact Arts’ current Head of Finance Mairi Sanders who will be stepping up as Head of Finance & Operations and interim Strategic Advisor, Miriam O’Connor OBE. Miriam has over 20 years’ experience of stakeholder management and leadership operating at national level in public and third sector organisations. She is a trusted and accountable leader who excels in influencing policy, shaping strategy and delivering through leadership, passion and effective governance. We welcome her warmly to the Impact Arts team. A new part-time fundraiser will complete the interim arrangements for the organisation.

Lisa Gallagher, Impact Arts Director said:

"I am delighted to be leaving Impact Arts in the hands of such dedicated and experienced people who all share Impact Arts’ mission of transforming lives through creativity and the arts. Alongside the board, the team will be following our clear business plan for the year and I look forward to following progress from my maternity leave.

"Our programmes empowering children, young people, older people and communities will continue to flourish under the whole Impact Arts team who are passionate about the arts and social change."
