Impact Arts Needs You!

Impact Arts Edinburgh is looking for volunteers to help with our award winning Craft Café programme. Please click here to find out more about Craft Café. We are looking for volunteers to act as Creative Assistants on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 9.30am – 4.30pm. They would be supporting our Craft Café art therapy tutor working with elderly people with dementia. The Role of the Creative Assistant includes:

  • Supporting the lead tutor with all delivery needs of the project
  • Supporting participants to participate to the best of their ability
  • Helping make the Craft Café a welcoming environment, making tea, coffee and light lunch duties
  • Contributing to photographic documentation of the project
  • Inspiring older people through the arts
  • Maintaining safe and productive boundaries

 

Travel and lunches will be covered and we can support volunteers to sign up with Project Scotland or the Volunteer Centre Edinburgh for additional support.
