New Exhibition Opening 07.05.15.
The exhibition, which
is part of Representing Dennistoun and funded by the Arts and Humanities Research
Council and the Big Lottery Celebrate Fund, is called ‘Dennistoun - Our 2014 Story’.
Children from local primary and secondary schools Whitehill High, Golfhill Primary,
Haghillpark Primary, community groups from Dennistoun Library, and the people
of Dennistoun have created a variety of artworks that make up this exciting
exhibition.
Over the past three months, photographer/film maker Bash Khan, artist James Gow, and writers Ellie Thom and Emma Nutland, collaborated with the community to produce the exhibition. It also features the work of two local artists, Eoin Carey and Paula Morgan.
The exhibition opening night will feature live performances, a selection of visual art works and the opportunity to share your Dennistoun story.
