Gallery 37 Ayrshire Showcase 2015

'Whatever Happened to West Ayrshire?'

On the 7th of August, the Gallery 37 programme held its showcase at the Magnum Centre in Irvine. A group of young people put their 4 weeks training in animation, performance and music to spectacular use, devising and performing a multi-media piece called 'Whatever Happened to West Ayrshire?'. The audience were drawn into a weird and wonderful world in an immersive performance that highlighted how far the young people, most of whom had no previous experience of creative activities, had come. Well done to the fabulous team of creatives and, of course, the talented young people involved - we can't wait to see what you do next!
