M.Y.R.I.A.D – Making Your Radiant Imagination a Destination – is a photography exhibition by young people from Renfrewshire aged 16-19 years old. It will open at the Wynd Centre, 6 School Wynd, Paisley PA1 2DBon Wednesday 2nd May 2018 between 12.30pm and 3.30pm.
Ten Impact Arts trainees on the Advanced Creative Pathways programme in Renfrewshire have been studying different techniques in photography for the past 8 weeks and have created an eclectic exhibition including light-drawing, portraiture, landscapes, still life and more.
The work has been inspired by the things that matter to them most – be it a local forest, a family member, or a collection of treasured items.
The exhibition will also run at the Tannahill Centre, 76 Blackstoun Rd, Paisley PA3 1NT for the month of May.
If you would like to attend the opening at the Wynd Centre, please contact Matthew McWhinnie at matthew.mcwhinnie@impactarts.co.uk.
The Advanced Creative Pathways programme is funded by Invest in Renfrewshire, Renfrewshire Council and the European Social Fund.
The aim of the six month programme is to give young people a start in community arts while taking their first steps towards a future in the creative industries.
