‘A Gift and a Curse’ – a Gift Surely!

Gallery 37 is Impact Arts creative arts programme that celebrates young people and their achievements. Each year Gallery 37 runs during the summer holidays and culminates in a high profile, high octane performance as part of the world famous Fringe Festival in Edinburgh!

Gallery 37 supports young people’s aspirations by providing an encouraging and dynamic environment in which they can learn new skills and develop existing ones. The programme builds confidence, raises self esteem, encourages team-work and provides one to one support.

Over the last four weeks 50 young people aged 14-17 have been taking part in Gallery 37 Urban Fringe in Edinburgh. Combining digital art and animation, music and sound, costume design and performance the Gallery 37 participants will become part of the Fringe with a variety of pop up performances integrating animation, drama, music and costume design to showcase a re-imagining of Hans Christian Andersen’s dark fairy tale ‘The Red Shoes’.

We invite you to discover the talent of the G37 Crew so come along for the interactive journey of the summer!
