The group of 15 young people in Glasgow are now settled in and working towards their Employability SQA awards.

They took part in `The Bird Box Challenge’ where they used recycled wood and waste materials to design, cut, build and decorate their own individual creations. This generated some interesting results with roofs tiled with various waste materials from wooden `chippy’ forks to broken CD’s, and designs have been drawn up that include drawbridges, gardens and even interior carpets!

The group have gelled well, with the young people helping each other out with tasks and discussing ideas about future career paths! So – plenty of creative energy, aspiration and mutual support abound! Watch this space!
