Have your say on new Clyde Walkway public art trail

Wed 26th April 2017

We are excited to be working with partners in Lanark and New Lanark to consult the local community on plans for a public art trail running from along the Clyde Walkway.

The trail would run from Castlebank Park through historic woodland in New Lanark to Clearburn and the Falls of Clyde.

This project comes through a partnership between Impact Arts, New Lanark Trust, Clyde & Avon Valley Landscape Partnership, the Scottish Wildlife Trust and Lanark Community Development Trust.

Our artists James Gow and Grace Mark will be running consultation sessions on the following dates:

Monday 24th April, 1pm – 3pm
Lanark Library

Tuesday 25th April, 4pm – 6pm
Lanark Library

Saturday 6th May, 9am – 1pm
Blossom Day Festival, Overton Farm

James and Grace will also be facilitating workshops with P6 pupils at New Lanark, Lanark, Robert Owen and St Mary’s Primary Schools.

As places are limited due to room size, it would be appreciated if you could email your confirmation of attendance at any of the sessions by emailing [email protected].
