Day 5 of Impact Arts’ first
ever Crowdfund campaign is drawing to a close, so we thought we’d share some
thoughts on our first week!
We launched The Young Gallery
crowdfund on Monday 14th October at 9am, and until now, we’ve raised
£1045! Not bad for 5 days, eh?
The whole team is bubbling with
enthusiasm; from participants, staff and managers, to our Board of Directors.
We’ve got so much planned for the
next 5 weeks, with the announcement of our famous patron (more on that later!)
and staff fundraisers that will get you laughing your socks off at how far
we’ll go to make the campaign a success.
“What’s been popular this week?”
I hear you ask. We’ve received the most pledges for our £10 reward package.
This brilliant reward includes getting your name on our online hall of fame as
a supporter of The Young Gallery plus a beautiful original art postcard (a print
of artwork created by children who have taken part in The Young Gallery
programme).
Some of our higher pledge rewards
contain invitations to an exclusive exhibition by a famous artist. This artist
will also be designing the invitation, and 50 lucky pledgees will get a SIGNED
version! We had originally planned to announce the name of The Young Gallery’s
patron on the 21.10.13 but since we‘re a bit of a tease we thought we would
leave you hanging till the 28th of October.
Don’t despair because in the
meantime we’re going to play a little game of Guess Who! Each day from Monday
21.10.13 we’ll release a carefully worded clue on Twitter and Facebook so that
you can have a guess. Feel free to put
your answers online – we want to create a buzz worthy of this amazing artist
ahead of the big reveal.
