Creative Pathways Showcases!

Wed 20th March 2013

It’s that time of year
again, when many of the talented young people on our Creative Pathways programme are graduating
and moving on to positive destinations such as employment and further education.
Over an 18-26 week period young people aged 16-19 have been engaged with Impact
Arts tutors on a creative journey, taking in furniture and product
design, or fashion design and upcycling.

Creative Pathways is a
skill-building course which offers participants the chance to learn a range of
employability and life skills such as team work, independent decision making,
and communication skills, in a transferable way. The course is structured to
build confidence, improve self esteem, instil leadership and support young
people to develop a sense of pride, both in themselves and in their work.

Young people are supported to
plan the next step in their journey of moving into employment, training,
volunteering or further education at the end of the programme.

The Showcases will take the
form of fashion shows, pop up shops and exhibitions of the young peoples work. Please
see below for details to join us at a showcase in your local area.

If you are interested in
joining the course or referring a young person please call 0141 575 3001.
