Creative Pathways Showcase 14.02.14

Impact Arts are excited to play host to an evening showcase of cutting edge fashion, theatrical style makeovers, and unique interior design products created, produced, and curated by young people aged 16-19 who engage with our Creative Pathways Programmes. The showcase, at the Arches theatre and nightclub in Argyle Street, Glasgow, will provide a stylish platform for our emerging artists to display their work against a stunning contemporary backdrop.
The Showcase will consist of a catwalk show, with models styling creations from our ‘Eco-Chic’ fashion course and our ‘Style’ hair and make up techniques course. Furthermore, there will be a multimedia presentation from our ‘Home’ interior and product design course. There will be opportunities to browse and purchase collections from Eco-Chic and Home at our marketplace stalls, to get a free makeover at our Style salon booth, and to meet the creative minds behind each project – our young artists themselves.
The evening, on Friday 14th February 2014, will commence with doors at 4.45pm, followed by our showcase catwalk show at 5.15pm and again at 6.15pm. Music will be provided throughout the evening by a DJ, and there will be drinks and canapés, provided by the Arches café bar.
