Creative Pathways participants design Eco Comic

Our Creative Pathways Glasgow group have been busy designing a comic book over the past 12 weeks. It is now complete and they can’t wait for everyone to see it!
The comic, ‘Eco’ was designed by Jay, Amy, Benji, John, Ami, Brooklyn and Angelica who are all currently on our Glasgow Creative Pathways programme. A free arts-focused employability programme teaching young people aged 16-19 practical creative arts skills while offering them support with job-searching, CV-building and interview skills.
drawings. Having visited ideas around recycling, animal rights, waste, pollution
and solutions to becoming more eco-friendly. They interviewed staff at the Zero waste market in Dennistoun as well as Viridor the Recycling & Renewable Energy centre in Govanhill, to help inspire them in the theme of their comic book.
Everyone in the group has different styles of drawing and they have been able to mix
them in order to create collaborative drawings. They have created an activist comic for
people who want to reach others through a new medium.
