Impact Arts’ Cashback for Communities-funded programme - entitled Cashback to the Future – will this year engage over 200 young people in Ayrshire, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Renfrewshire in in-depth creative workshops led by accomplished artists who offered masterclasses in visual arts music, performance and digital work.
Aimed at 12-19 year olds, these workshops offer free, safe and creative spaces for participants to be inventive and imaginative, with first-rate guidance on hand from skilled creative staff and volunteers. 2018 is Cashback to the Future's second year: find out more about the 2017 programme's stunning showcase events, or have a look at our dedicated Cashback to the Future blog, which documents a truly unforgettable summer for the young people and artists involved.
In the build up to the summer programme, Impact Arts are running Cashback to the Future: Creative Evenings. These are free weekly two-hour workshops covering a range of art-forms which give young people the chance to work with artists on youth-led creative projects. Further details below:
Cashback to the Future is funded by the Scottish Government's CashBack for Communities initiative, which backs projects supporting disadvantaged young people.
Additional funding and support comes from National Museum of Scotland and the Heritage Lottery Fund's Kick the Dust and Young Roots funds.
