Express Yourself

Express Yourself offers weekly workshops (in 16 week themed blocks) for care-experienced young people aged 14-25 across North Ayrshire.

A Life Changes Trust funded programme for care-experienced young people (14-25 years) in North Ayrshire

"There are mysterious USB drives hidden in cracks in walls, in trees, and attached to coke cans by park benches. On them you may find hidden stories and letters, photographs and short films, blueprints and drawings, and perhaps clues to where the next one may be hiding."

Throughout August and September (Block 1), we will focus on using creative writing, drawing, photography, digital image and cyanotype techniques to see how we can tell stories about the things that may have happened in the past, future and present linked to the places or people around us. These stories will be downloaded onto USB sticks and hidden outdoors for people passing by to discover them.

Join Jack Stancliffe and Eve Tunstall via our weekly online sessions during on Mondays (1-3pm) and/or Tuesdays (10am-12pm/ 2pm-4pm).

Art/creative packs supplied by Impact Arts. Support with digital equipment/data is available too.
