Chair Improvisation

The Edinburgh Performance group led by Hazel Angus took part in an activity looking specifically at movement and the key principals of improvisation. Working in pairs the young people started to build phrases of movement. Thus building choreography by putting all the solos together. Considering the idea of over,over and under, under the group furthered their exploration of this by using chairs.
The results of which were very interesting to see here in the preparation of the final chair dance captured here on film.
