This July, over 200 young people have been working with Impact Arts’ team across Scotland as part of free CashBack to the Future workshops – and now here’s the chance to see what amazing things they’ve been creating!
My Museum will be an energetic arts, performance, music and digital showcase, marking Scotland’s Year of Young People.
The young people have been engaging in visual art, music, performance, and digital projects reflecting what they would like to see in their own personal museum – what is important to them and what should be preserved.
This will inspire an all-singing, all-dancing, energy-packed arts showcase and exhibition. We hope as many of you as possible can make it along and celebrate the hard work and creativity the young people have brought to this summer’s programme.
Performances will be taking place from 3.30pm until 5pm, with an open exhibition of artwork between 5pm and 6.30pm.
The CashBack to the Future programme has been funded by CashBack for Communities – a Scottish Government initiative backing young people’s programmes using the seized proceeds of crime.
Additional funding comes from National Museums Scotland, the Heritage Lottery Fund’s Young Roots and Kick the Dust funds, and the Voluntary Action Fund.
