Thank you!: Impact Arts x Big Give raises £10,000 for CashBack to the Future

Your generosity made double the difference!
Big Give’s match funding campaign Arts For Impact has officially come to an end.
Between March 18-25 2025, the public were encouraged to donate to the charities that matter to them, and get their donation doubled.
This was the first time Impact Arts was a participating charity in a Big Give campaign and we are blown away by the response we received.
Thanks to everyone who donated and supported our campaign, we reached our fundraising target!
Through public donations, we raised £5,000 which Big Give will now double to £10,000 ✨
Big Give’s overall impact
Over seven days, a total of 286 participating charities in the arts and culture sector received 13,672 donations and raised £1,235,403 during Big Give’s Arts For Impact campaign.
Big Give’s philanthropic partners will now double this amount to £2,742,407 including GiftAid!
Here’s where Impact Arts’ funds are going
This money will go towards CashBack to the Future, our youth arts programme for 14-19 year olds affected by poor life chances across Scotland.
Reaching our Big Give target amount means we’ll be able to support 140 young people who are not currently in education, employment or training.
Over 12 months, we’ll help them develop employability and creative skills, build confidence, and work towards practical next steps to a positive future.
What is CashBack to the Future?
Using fun and non-traditional creative engagement, we work with young people from Scotland’s most disadvantaged communities, affected by poor life chances.
We work with young people who are: not in employment, education or training; living in an a deprived area; at risk of disengaging from school; at risk of engaging in anti-social behaviour; struggling with neurodivergence; LGBTQ+; and/or living with a disability or mental health condition.
CashBack to the Future helps these young people:
🎨 Have fun, get creative and make friends
🎨 Increase their communication and social skills
🎨 Build confidence and self-esteem
🎨 Improve their health and wellbeing
🎨 Gain qualifications and find opportunities
In turn, this fosters positive change in the individual and supports their future progression into education, training, employment and/or community participation.
We have year-round regular CashBack projects at our permanent bases in Edinburgh, Glasgow and North Ayrshire.
