Bid for a brilliantly colourful canvas painting by Edinburgh young people!

Tue 14th November 2017

Our latest Creative Pathways programme in Edinburgh came to an end last week, with the group’s brilliantly-designed creative Escape Room events at Edinburgh Castle and Trinity House of Leith.

Now we are offering you the chance to get your hands on one of the stand-out pieces of art on display as part of these amazing exhibition events!

This vibrant and wildly imaginative 9-foot canvas painting was created in collaboration with artists Jacob Kerray and Clare McAllister of Talbot Rice Gallery.

Thanks to the project’s partnership and support from Historic Environment Scotland, the group have had the chance to seek artistic inspiration in some historic and iconic buildings in Edinburgh.

The mural incorporates ideas from the entire group over the past 10 weeks, images inspired by heritage and tourism, and iconography of Edinburgh and Scotland more generally.

The dimensions are 9ft10 x 4ft10 and the materials are acrylic paint and ink on canvas.

There is a minimum bid in place of £50. The deadline for bids is 12noon on Tuesday 21st November 2017.

If you would like to bid, please contact Matthew McWhinnie on 0141 575 3001 or email [email protected].
