Arts Awards Ceremony

Impact Arts are celebrating with 60 young people who successfully achieved their Arts Awards in 2014/2015.

The young people aged between 14-24 took part across three of Impact Arts creative programmes Gallery 37, Creative Pathways and the employability initiative Community Jobs Scotland in Edinburgh.

The Arts
Award is a range of unique qualifications that support anyone up to 25 grow as
artists and arts leaders, inspiring them to connect with and take part in the
wider arts world through taking challenges in an art form. Through
Arts Award young people gain a nationally recognised qualification enabling
them to progress into further education and employment.

Impact Arts is one of the only providers of the awards in Edinburgh.

Jay McAllister, Head of Delivery at Impact Arts said: “This is the first time that we have offered the Bronze Art Award as part of our creative programmes, and we are delighted that so many young people successfully achieved their certificates.”

“The Arts Awards are a unique qualification that perfectly compliments the creativity we use as a vehicle to help young people reach positive destinations. We’re excited to hand out the certificates at the ceremony in March.”

The Arts Awards will be handed out at a ceremony on 31.03.15 2pm-4pm at the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh.
