Ani-mazing! Young people’s stopmotion and claymation to be exhibited in Paisley

Tue 05th June 2018

Following on from last month’s successful MYRIAD photography exhibition, our Advanced Creative Pathways team in Renfrewshire have set their minds to stop-motion, claymation and 3D animation works.

The Advanced Creative Pathways programme involves young trainees from the Renfrewshire area learning a range of creative techniques which will equip them for a future in the creative industries.

The animation block has involved the team learning about the painstaking animation process – including storyboarding, preproduction, brainstorming and planning.

Working in collaboration with our Creative Mentoring Programme – an older age group including arts graduates – the group have come up with some amazing ideas. From a fox who loves sushi, to a robot babysitter – with lots more weird and wonderful in between…

Come along to the Wynd Centre (6 School Wynd, Paisley PA1 2DB) on Wednesday 20th June 2018 between 12pm and 2.30pm to see what the team have been working on. There will be free cake and juice.

If you would like to attend, please contact Matthew McWhinnie on 0141 575 3001 or email [email protected].

The Advanced Creative Pathways and Creative Mentoring Programmes are funded by Invest in Renfrewshire, Renfrewshire Council and the European Social Fund.
