The Music Project

The Music Project offered twelve young bands, (selected on their basic ability, enthusiasm and commitment), the opportunity to access quality music tuition, studio rehearsal space and an insight into the workings of the music business.

Experienced musicians provided support and advice to individuals who already have a musical ability but perhaps lacked the know-how to take their talent further.

After a series of rehearsals and coaching sessions, the project ended with all the selected bands showcasing their music in the ABC in Sauchiehall Street in Spring 2006. TMP provided an excellent starting point for any band who wants to pursue a career in the music industry, gain experience in performing in front of a live audience and access professional rehearsal studios.
