Larkfield Environmental Arts Project

Impact Arts worked with Larkfield Housing Association on a project highlighting local environmental issues with primary schools in the Larkfield area.

The project engaged the children in quality arts activities, whilst developing new skills, self confidence and knowledge of local environmental concerns. Themes such as vandalism, litter, graffiti, community safety, fly tipping, fire safety and recycling were covered through varied arts activities.

The pupils developed their understanding of good citizenship and consequently, the project had a positive impact on the local environment - reducing the risk of vandalism and littering, and tackling territorial issues which exist in the area.
